VNG PORT: Distant View's

DISTANT VIEW: Why not ?

At the edge of our vision field, ships cross the horizon. Sometimes we just see its silhouettes, or only their superstructures and cargo, or its lights in the  evening or night. The distant view is similiar to fishing activity. With a suitable on-line locator , we get excellent results. The limit depends of various factors (1-8): instrumental, atmospherical and geographical...and yuor patience and constancy... ¡of course¡

Distant View's Factors (DVF):

To photographic register, we can add the observation through binoculars. I recommend at least the 8x30 / 8x40mm type, but  better the 7x-10x-12x50mmor the even impressive 20x60mm to 11x80mm, with a good tripode. From the VNG  can be photographed distant ships nearly 20 miles offshore with a digital telephoto lens f=255mm.¡ But it's always possible to go a little further ¡
